We can't sell our current kitchen all in one go so getting rid of this portion to start with. It's from the WIckes Tiverton Bone much would you shove it on faceache/ebay/gumtree for? It's in really good condition, clean, no dinks, etc. This is not an snidey way to advertise it by the way as we're not quite ready to dismantle it yet but want to get things ready to go.

Believeitornot Sun 11-Feb-18 16:03:43

I would check sold prices on eBay for ideas!

Chickencellar Sun 11-Feb-18 16:08:39

I'm not sure 3 cupboards would sell , who would what just that bit of a kitchen ?

bobkate Sun 11-Feb-18 16:12:23

Nope you could well be right chicken! Hence my minor conflict with DH grin He wants to sell - thinks we could ask for £200 - I'm not sure if anyone would buy and thinks if we put £50 someone might be tempted!!!

WidowTwonky Sun 11-Feb-18 16:13:09

I was going to say £20 perhaps

AnaWinter Sun 11-Feb-18 16:13:47

£50 at most.

Beamur Sun 11-Feb-18 16:15:58

No way at £200.

Joinourclub Sun 11-Feb-18 16:16:04

No more than 50 quid.

MrsZippyLake Sun 11-Feb-18 16:18:14

£20-£50 maybe but £200 is insane!

Fairylea Sun 11-Feb-18 16:18:29

I’m not sure anyone will buy just one part of a fitted kitchen. I would wait and sell it all together, you’ll get a much better price.

Chickencellar Sun 11-Feb-18 16:18:51

£200 grin you could probably buy a whole kitchen for that on eBay.
Are you having the kitchen replaced in bits ? If so pop it in your garage. If you don't have a garage it's not worth the effort of storing it and selling it later on.

Fairylea Sun 11-Feb-18 16:19:05

£200 is crazy!

MissWimpyDimple Sun 11-Feb-18 16:19:14

Ha. 50 maybe. 200 would be more like the whole kitchen.

ronniebarkersauntie Sun 11-Feb-18 16:20:00

It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay. That’s why I like eBay; I usually list everything at 99p - with the idea that if people are interested, it will reach its natural price.

MaggieFS Sun 11-Feb-18 16:20:10

No idea what I'd pay, but would have though you're limiting your market as the only people are interested would be people who don't care what it looks like for a utility or shed and so want it cheap, or people who want it to match, so would prob want more of the kitchen in one go.

Chickencellar Sun 11-Feb-18 16:21:42

This is what you can get for £248

bobkate Sun 11-Feb-18 16:44:38

grin I am please to tell DH he in, indeed, insane!!! I had previously pointed out most of your reasons to him but it seems he needs to be told by others. Doofus.
We have no garage to store it but this part of the kitchen needs to come out to dig the floor up, generally start making a mess. Some of the rest we will be re-using in our utility. But we will leave it until the last minute to remove that and store in our front room! A serious game of storage Jenga will then be undertaken.
Thank you all for helping me to prove my point and that I was, in fact, right all along halo

bobkate Sun 11-Feb-18 16:46:14

Pleased to tell DH he IS, auto correct grrrrr

CotswoldStrife Sun 11-Feb-18 16:49:02

I bought three large kitchen cupboards for about £25 on ebay and it included an extra shelf! £200 is madness!

LilaBlue Sun 11-Feb-18 16:53:01

I'd say 20-30 quid.

TheNecroscope Sun 11-Feb-18 17:02:59

We sold our entire solid wood kitchen on eBay for £300! He’s insane to think anyone would buy a cupboard for £200!

bobkate Sun 11-Feb-18 18:07:44

Yes. He is grin

TERFette Sun 11-Feb-18 18:09:21

How long/deep are they? I'll have them!

ShowOfHands Sun 11-Feb-18 18:14:20

I bought an entire kitchen on eBay including dishwasher, integrated hob and double oven, for £300.
