Is it possible to add a shower to this bathroom and if so how would you do it?

Floorplan please!!

Change the taps for one which will switch from taps to shower, have a large rainfall shower head attached to the side wall, with a circular curtain rail also attached to the side wall. Hang two shower curtains, making a complete enclosed circle.

Shower head over the bath?

False wall between the sink and bath - move taps to the middle of the bath and add shower / shower screen

Or move the sink

Bath along window wall. Shower unit on left as you walk in. Toilet would have to be right beside bath on one side with sink opposite

Fake wall is a very good idea.

Agree that if barb could go under the window that be good.

Where's the door? If it's where you're stood then move sink to wall in front of toilet, can even turn toilet to face the bath and put the shower where the sink is.

swap bath and sink, put shower on wall opposite window. I don't think it would be that expensive to do, pipes can just run under the bath.

That’s a really good idea Macaroni. Thank you

Would you consider an electric shower.

FrancoisOnTheMove Wed 07-Feb-18 15:25:40

Don’t know. What’s the difference? I’m just looking at the room trying to work out how best to get a shower in there as we need one for daily showering.

Well the good thing about an electric shower is that it heats the water, so if for any reason your gas boiler breaks down, you've still got a source of hot water. This has happened to me a couple of times, was glad there was an alternative.
You could put one in over your bath, then have a shower screen/curtain.

Ours is exactly the same layout and we have a shower plumbed into the long wall half way down the bath. The shower curtain hangs from an angled bar suspended from the ceiling.
