Quooker - confused about which tank

I will speak my plumber next week but hoping to get everything priced up today. I have the Quooker brochure but I'm still really confused Confused
The determining factor is the distance from your kitchen tap to the central heating cylinder. If this is more than 6 metres, select a COMBI
So we're having a new kitchen. Do I need to consider the distance from my new sink to the airing cupboard (with hot water tank inside) as the crow flies? Or try and work out the route of the new pipes etc and measure that distance from the new sink to upstairs airing cupboard??

I presume I need the combi tank but I'm totally bamboozled and I've no idea of the implications of choosing the wrong one

I'd expect it to be the pipe length.

It's a water/energy saving suggestion. The Combi tank provides both boiling and hot water. The 6 metre recommendation (pipe length) is so you don't have to run your regular tap and wait for normal warm water to arrive, reducing demand on your boiler and reducing water wastage. If all you want is a boiling water tap there is nothing stopping you going for the Pro3 or Pro7.

I want all 3 - cold, warm and boiling water.

Thanks both. I think I'll stick with the combi (no idea where the pipes will go but assume it's more than 6m)
