Any experience of dressing room and ensuite combined...?

Short on space. Not a full ensuite just shower - no loo. Was thinking of having dressing room - fully enclosed wardrobes - with sink and mirror - then floor to ceiling fully sealed large glass shower enclosure with room to towel dry off and super extraction....

I would still worry about damp/ mouldy clothes. Even super extraction it will get steamy unless its a big room.

thats a good point - I will have to investigate if I can get 100% sealed glass shower room - and if not build a standard stud wall and door into shower zone - might then be better to make it a wet room and move the sink in....

It's done here in the US all the time. It makes total sense and it's a very efficient use of space.

When it's done well here you walk through with custom racks on both sides. See if you can get the elfa system. It's owned by the container store here in the US and I've found it to be excellent.

Thats good to know - what flooring do you put in the dressing zone - would tiles be too cold - would amtico be better? How is the steam/ventilation issue avoided?

A good extractor fan along with the shower enclosure normally being floor to ceiling. If you do the floor to ceiling shower enclosure the town will most probably require an extractor within the enclosure. Most people therefore do an enclosure that comes up most of the way leaving a 1-2 foot gap at the top.

For flooring a lot of people are using the vinyl fake wood look floor tiles. We will have this set up once we renovate in a few years and will use stone tiles in the bathroom with hardwood in the dressing area.
