Just putting in a wet room between my two sons bedrooms and want to ensure it is fit for purpose and easy to clean - any ideas on best size/shape to ensure water isnt splashed everywhere etc?

I suppose quite wide as water drips off your elbows. A large mirror that will suit people of varying height, and bathroom-safe lighting on both sides.

Shaving foam leaves a difficult film on the glaze. I thought it was limescale but found that bathroom spray gets it off. If allowed to build up you need a nylon brush or scourer as well.

Don't put a wall cabinet or shelf above the basin. When a bottle, jar, glass or mug falls, it will crack the basin.

If two sons will be using it, put an individual cabinet for each of them for the Lynx and zit cream. Lockable ones might be even better. And individual towel rails.

Make sure you have a hair catcher/attachment. Facial hair blocks sink

Thanks all -- lots of things I had not considered - especially to give them each their own towel rail, shower nook and cupboard if possible.

Dont think that I have the space for two sinks - but 2 taps with long trough sink would work.

We have a square sink and stubble, soap scum etc gets pushed into the corners so I'd go with a round sink

they might squabble if sharing a trough.

And it would take a lot of water to fill it for washing your face and other parts.

We have a double from IKEA - it's 100cm I think so yes a bit wide...
