Has anyone bought a kitchen from the Cooke and Lewis range? If so were you pleased, was it affordable by comparison to other shops? I went in there a few months ago and really liked one of their kitchens and was thinking of getting them to come over and quote for us.

We have a Cooke & Lewis kitchen. It's 6 yrs old now and looks as good as new. We bought in their Christmas sale and they price matched all the integrated white goods so got a really good deal.

We fitted ourselves so can't comment on that.

We bought a Cooke and Lewis kitchen this time last year from b and q.
Really solid carcasses and doors and all made well.
We fitted it ourselves so can't comment on that side but I can tell you what we were quoted for ripping out old kitchen and fitting new was more than the cost of the kitchen.
We went for all soft close doors and premium drawers as well as the higher end sink and a half and taps and work tops and we really love it.
Which range are you looking at?

We have a Cooke & Lewis, oak framed, 5 years old and wouldn't buy again. Will probably need to replace in the next 5 or so years. Easily marked, hinges hanging so doors off line, crap handles.

We got with a good trade discount on the doors at the time so it was very cheap, but you can tell it is.

It you finish with better hinges, handles, a good quality worktop it might just pass.
