Wood effect floor tiles?

I sounds awful - but with UFH it would be efficient, and would save me a fortune, does anyone have any experience of wood effect tiles? How do they wear? Are they too good to be true?
They will not be cold with the UFH but will the sound drive me nuts? I was planning to have stone in the kitchen anyway, but ...

The wood effect tiles wear just as well as a normal porcelain / ceramic tile. They look lovely and the wood effect is very realistic!
