How much do you reckon a kitchen like this would cost?

Hi there.

I'm looking to renovate my kitchen, it's a small 12ft x 13ft one and I really like the cabinetry in this kitchen; dougelissa.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/kitchen-reveal.html?m=1

I love everything about it! The backsplash choice, the drawer pulls, the natural shelves... it's beautiful!

I'm guessing the cabinetry would have to be custom made?

Is it possible to buy a fitted kitchen and have the cabinetry sizes changed? I hate the cabinets that don't reach all the way high to the ceiling.

Thank you. :)

Not a custom job from the looks of it.

Could easily do that for £5k cost of units and appliances. Maybe another couple of £100 on tiles.

Plus fitting

Have a look at DIY kitchens. Huge range of cabinets and plenty of tall ones.

Its not my kind of thing, I'm not mad on it but what really ruins it for me is that she hasn't made the dishwasher integrated. I'd also do an integrated fridge freezer, I could live without that but a non integrated dishwasher, just why did she do that especially when her husband is a kitchen designer.

I've been looking at doing my own kitchen and those kinds of cabinets are everywhere op. Have you looked at Howdens? I have no issue with non integrated appliances. I'd rather not have them hidden away.

American rarely integrate their appliances. It's one of the biggest giveaways on location when you're looking at kitchens online.

OP - DIY kitchens or Ikea. Howdens also heavily promote their bespoke shelving in their catalogue

Wickes do lots of shaker style kitchens and they have 50% off at the moment. We've got 14 units for 3.5k in the heritage range. The heritage bone looks quite similar to those photos.

I actually prefer a non-integrated dishwasher and fridge/freezer. More "character" I think.

Shop around and get quotes ... don't just go to one store. Loads of kitchen places plus try and get quotes from the less mainstream shops because more overheads for larger stores
