Modern blinds?

I have recently moved and we need a house full of manky blinds replaced. Inspired by a recent thread and due to my lack of interior design knowledge, I need help to find modern yet timeless blinds! I've been googling for the last hour and I can't seem to find a happy medium between plain and boring and overtly colourful/ patterned creations. Are there any stylish people out there that can point me in the right direction?!

I think stripes and geometric prints tend to look good as blinds. Have a google of "geometric blinds" and see what you think.
