Can you find fault with it?
Needs new kitchen and new bathrooms probably but that's ok
Size of the garden!

Is it nice enough to change your life over?!

It's lovely (apart from kitchen). How much of a life change would it involve?

No. Not nice enough to change your life over. The downstairs living area doesn't have a lot of natural light. The kitchen is a mess. Have you seen it? Is the summer house habitable?

If it's not broken, I think the buyer should keep the kitchen - it's vintage now! I really like it. Not the horrible kitchen carpet though.

I'm not sure any house is worth changing your whole life for though, unless there are major problems with your current life. And I speak as a serious rightmost addict.

It's lovely. It looks like they ran out of money before finishing it.
Where's the floor plan?
Can't look at a house without a floor plan!

I agree - need to see a floor plan. That long skinny upstairs room is also not pleasant with the short ceiling and only roof windows.

I like the kitchen- it's quirky!

It only has one bathroom to serve six bedrooms - you better all have very strong bladders...

No, it's not nice enough to change my life for. It doesn't have a floorplan but some of the photos suggest it has been extended in a slightly odd way and I wouldn't be surprised if the layout were now all over the place.

Wouldn't even view without a floor plan

Drove my dh nuts when we were moving haha

Imagine the heating bills!

Floor plan
It's on with another agent
Move to be close to family
Ds changing school
Would be selling a more expensive property so would mean money in the bank

I think they ran out of money too, the Summer house it brand new, but not sure if anything inside finished

Does it back into the railway line?

Report
BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 14/04/2017 16:38

I suspect the agent knows that will sell in a heartbeat and didn't bother with floor plan or decent photos!
Nothing of the big summerhouse at end of the garden

I thought that tunnel room with the velux windows was a converted garage and the plan seems to confirm that

The kitchen has two different floorings

Report
Ferrisday · 14/04/2017 16:42

There's a bathroom downstairs and one upstairs
And the ensuite is plumbed in

I like the idea of putting in my own bathrooms and kitchen- I never like anyone else's

Definitely an unfinished project.
Either they ran out of money or split up

I see, the tunnel room is downstairs. Natural light is a big big deal for DH & I so there's no way I'd want to be stuck in the tunnel room. i wouldn't put young DCs in there but my teens I might!
