Moving on after two years in house

My DIY, party and music-loving neighbours are doing my head in. Tonight is the fifth night of six where there has been some sort of racket emanating from their side. I had to go round at 10pm to ask them to stop with the drilling and banging but it's just started up again. I've been here for 18 months and have had to go round on several occasions to ask them to keep it down and it's now reached the point where I dread 10pm (my bedtime due to early start) because I can never relax.

My worry is that potential buyers might wonder why I've only been there for two years. Is that likely?

It's such a shame as it's a great house with a lovely garden but I just can't stand the noise much longer. They just don't seem to get how much it travels through the walls.

Even earplugs only block out some of it.

Should have said that I'll put it back on the market in six months once I've finished the bathroom etc.

I always ask the Estate Agent, probably because I am nosey, but I would have a 'story' ready such as moving area for work, closer to family etc

Thanks. That's reassuring. I'm gutted, it's my first house and I had high hopes for it being a long-term home, but I just can't relax here. The area is very quiet, meaning there's no road noise or similar to drown out the neighbours' noise.
