Opinions on Kennington, Willesden Green, Harringay, Forest Gate?

Hi, we're sadly contemplating moving from Bermondsey SE16, which I love. But it doesn't have any large houses and we want more space. Anyone have insider knowledge on the above areas?

Priorities are: short and easy commute to central London (25 min door to door currently, I'm spoilt). Good schools. Not too far from parents in NW London. Somewhere which feels like a proper place and has interesting stuff nearby within walking distance. I don't like dormitory-type suburbia (I know lots do but I like feeling part of the big city!).

Thank you!

How did you come up with that list? It is extremely varied.

Kennington would be by FAR the best of all of those.

What do you mean by 'central London' like are you commuting to bank, london bridge, westminster, south bank??

Commuting to the West End. Most of the list is convenient for central and NW. Forest Gate will he on Crossrail in three years and we can afford a nicer property there.
