Hi

Currently doing a renovation and my ideal is to have dark wooden flooring, grey paint on walls, and dark doors, interior decor lady was like we need to go with white doors etc, I have seen this door that i really like from Todds, www.todd-doors.co.uk/blog/hang-slide-or-swing-alternative-ways-to-hang-your-doors is it possible to have grey walls, this type of door colour across the house and dark wooden flooring or its too much

Have what you like but I suspect she has advised lighter coloured doors to avoid it being too dark. Hallways and corridors with dark flooring and dark doors could be oppressive.

Yeah i am just being sentimental, white doors makes a little more sense I guess but will ask her to make a suggestion on if there is an alternative that she can work with dark doors

Lovely doors, but in the advert they have them against a white/ pale background. This makes a feature of the door. You will loses the impact if they are against a darkish wall.

Nice door! I guess it also depends on how dark your grey wall paint & flooring is. I'm actually not sure white doors will be great either as they'll be a contrast and perhaps stand out. You'll want artwork or whatever to stand out not your white contrasting doors.

We have dark wooden floors (lady who had the house before us had painted them dark brown rather than staining along with many other questionable decoration choices) and we have dark grey walls in that room. We have dark stained pine doors and I don't think it looks dark or oppressive, but the room does have a huge window and is south facing so that may make the difference. I think the doors you linked to would work as long as it is a generally light room. You could always paint them later if you change your mind

This hallway has a dark floor and dark door but lighter walls and interestingly white/very pale architraves etc. There's no windows in this hallway by the look of it.
