I can't decide!!!!

jensner Tue 04-Apr-17 19:09:43

Do you mean oven or hob?

MrsGotobed Tue 04-Apr-17 19:11:58

If you mean hob I'd go for an induction one as I'm pissed off with cleaning up spillages and mess from the gas one.

Oven wise, I'd stick to electric

GooodMythicalMorning Tue 04-Apr-17 19:12:02

Either just not induction (hob)

Gas hob electric oven! Tried others and has to be my favourite

Palomb Tue 04-Apr-17 19:30:20

Gas hob electric oven.

I've got an inherited gas oven and it's shit. I wouldn't have one again.

Induction top pyoclean oven everytime as life's too short to be cleaning all the time

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer Tue 04-Apr-17 19:35:20

Gas hob electric oven here too.

FrenchLavender Tue 04-Apr-17 19:35:22

Always electric. Gas hobs are apt to blow out and are difficult to clean although they are much better for woks but they aren't as good as induction for everything else. Gas ovens are outdated and too difficult to get accurate temperature control on.

Gas hob electric oven every time.

jensner Tue 04-Apr-17 20:05:27

Electric oven and induction hob.

refusetobeasheep Tue 04-Apr-17 20:13:53

Interesting! So deffo electric oven, maybe gas / induction hob .... actually need to google what an induction job is!

NoArmaniNoPunani Tue 04-Apr-17 20:15:30

We are just having a new kitchen. Fab electric oven and induction hob is our choice

Glossolalia Tue 04-Apr-17 20:17:08

I FUCKING hate induction hobs.

Gas job, electric oven.

Every single time.

refusetobeasheep Tue 04-Apr-17 20:17:47

Wow. Should have tried to understand induction cooking before I had the GandT .... at least understood is quicker!

twocockers Tue 04-Apr-17 20:19:24

Induction job and pyrotechnic oven. Makes cleaning easier all round and an induction job is really quick to heat up - nothing like old ceramic or halogen ones.

AspasiaFitzgibbon Tue 04-Apr-17 20:20:00

Gas hob electric oven. Never had a gas hob blow.

AdoraBell Tue 04-Apr-17 20:20:24

Gas hob for me. I'm happy with an electric oven.

We have a fab induction hob now, but only because the gas doesn't run to the kitchenhmm We didn't know that before we bought.

isittheholidaysyet Tue 04-Apr-17 20:21:16

I'd stick with my gas hob and electric oven.

NannyR Tue 04-Apr-17 20:24:13

I love my induction hob - just as responsive as gas but so much easier to clean. However, ideally I would like to have a single gas burner for stirfrying in a wok - I've seen combination hobs where there are three induction hobs and one gas hob.

SpringSpringSpring Tue 04-Apr-17 21:02:01

Definitely gas hob.

Probably electric oven although I love a gas grill.

Justanothernameonthepage Tue 04-Apr-17 21:39:53

Gas hob (unless you don't really enjoy cooking) induction jobs are awful.

DramaAlpaca Tue 04-Apr-17 21:41:02

I'd stick with what I have - gas hob, electric oven.

SusannahD Tue 04-Apr-17 21:43:14

Gas hob- much quicker than electric and easy to control heat, bit of a pain to clean though. Electric oven.

MusicToMyEars800 Tue 04-Apr-17 21:44:00

gas hob, electric oven and gas grill ( in an ideal world ) my electric grill takes way too long to melt the cheese on my toast grin
