Hi,
Looking for some opinions please.
Most of the house we have viewed have been the traditional 3 bedroom 1930s semi-detached with 2 good sized bedroom and 1 small single. Preferably with a garage attached to the side that we could turn into an additional reception in the future. The kitchen at the back and one reception at the front and one at the back.
A house has come up with an integrated garage, and because of the garage the floor space is larger upstairs so all three bedrooms are of a good size. However the layout downstairs is different, with the kitchen at the front of the house and the receptions at the back and stairs in between the receptions and kitchen.
We plan on living here for a couple of years then most likely we would move on. However, would this layout be difficult to sell on as most people prefer a kitchen at the back where it could be extended to a fashionable kitchen-diner with skylights etc? (Garden is massive so there is room to extend.)
The house does need modernizing so I'm worried we may not get the money back!
Thanks for any opinions.
