About to redecorate dd's room, she turns three in April, and am getting stuck/overwhelmed by Pinterest so would love to see how other people have done theirs please! Despite my best efforts, she loves pink and I was thinking aqua/green would be a good contrast. She also loves animals. I did wonder about plain walls and using accessories for colour - but if you can't have fun wallpaper when you're three, when can you?!

So, what do your kids' bedrooms look like?

Good god no, the mess alone would make you weep!

But I found that two pink walls and two magnolia were a great start. We bought Frozen vinyls for the Magnolia walls and canvases for the Pink walls.

Not sure these will help but this is ds2s room - minecraft themed 😀

We have three white wall and one checked wallpaper .. It is very plain but very calming.

badders thank you for being brave - that looks brilliant, I bet he loves it!

I was thinking maybe 2 pink walls and 2 cream. Found some gorgeous wallpapers by scion today though.

We've just done dts who are 6. It's pink. Everywhere. They chose it. White furniture - bunk bed, chest of drawers and shelves to try and lessen the pinkness.

They love it although it's not what I would have chosen!

I don't know if this will be any help as it was my son's when he was 3. He'll be sharing a room with his little sister soon so will need to rethink!?

He's got a great minecraft themed lampshade and beanbag too
And a wall torch Smile
I'm really pleased with it
We have worked on 3 white walls and ceiling in both boys rooms with a coloured carpet and then one "feature" wall done with vinyl decals so when the boys want a change we can just peel them off and get new ones in a new theme 👍

My 4yr old DD has pale grey walls and white furniture. I've framed some of her artwork for the walls and she has some coloured honeycomb decorations hanging up. I find the soft toys/play kitchen/baby dolls etc add enough colour to keep it feeling girly and young enough for her.

Practically everything is shocking pink. It glows on asunny day.

Only as you mention pink and green, this is a nursery but just age up the pictures and would work well. I like having pattern on easily replaced accessories, easier for me to change out

here's some pics. Excuse the lack of bed! She's sharing bunks in her sisters room at the moment whilst we await the arrival of her new mid-sleeper.

DD2 wanted pink too. We compromised with pale pink on two walls and a light turquoise on the other two. They look good together. DD loves it :)

DD1 also wanted pink and has the same pink on two walls and a sunny yellow on the other.

Where do you all get your decals from? I'm loving the look of these www.iconwallstickers.co.uk/galaxy-spiral-universe-space-nebula-wall-mural-astrology-photo-wallpaper

namechange that tree is amazing!

pigley I love that aqua colour and had planned pink and aqua for her nursery - still not done three years later! That green is also lovely though herroyal ...I don't cope well with choice!

christmas I can't see any pics...?

Any thoughts on a double bed for a three year old? Her older brother could snooze with her at sparrows fart instead of getting in our bed then!

millimat I really rate Becky and lolo for wall decals. We've had their animal ones which survived being peeled off and stuck in three different houses, and dd has this one as her only decor at the moment:
