Need a warm grey bathroom paint - can anyone help?

I have got some tester pots from Wickes and Dulux. I quite like "light rain" from Wickes but it is so hard to see the effect on the entire room when you just paint a test splodge on the wall!

I'm worrying that it will look cold, and too blue, but I really can't tell this from a little splodge on the wall.

Has anyone used Wickes "light rain" or have any recommendations for a lightish grey paint that has warm tones?

Thank you!

Hopeful bump even though probably the most boring thread ever...

A lot of people on here suggest Timeless, a light off white I think.

I have F&B Cornforth White modern emulsion in a West facing bathroom and it's wonderful!

Don't paint a little splodge on the wall. Paint the biggest piece of paper you can find and try it in different places around the room. Much easier to see how it will look in the different lights, and you can keep it to try in other rooms

Dulux dusted moss 2 is a lovely grey, not cold. Similar to F & B cornforth white I think.

Lining paper is good for what Trethew suggests.

I used this and was pleasantly surprised. Give me a shout if you'd like a photo of the bathroom

Sorry to hear that you couldn't view the link. It was Wilko Bathroom Mid Sheen Emulsion Paint Pearl Grey 2.5L

Photos taken in natural light. Though it's become rather grotty here now.

I've got Crown Cloud Burst on walls around my house and am so happy with it. It looks really clean, but also warm. I think it's magic! Depending on the size of your bathroom you might want to combine it with a wall or two in bright white too (in case it's too dark).

I think Elephants Breath by F and B is a warm grey. Or Purbeck Stone. Their web site gives ideas for red based "warm" colours which give a cosier feel.

Sulus Polished Pebble is a lovely warm grey. Am going to paint my son's bedroom in it.

Another vote for polished pebble. Just used it in my bathroom today and it is gorgeous. I have little bursts of happiness whenever I go in there! Smile
It did used to be 80s pink and gold which is why I am a tad over excited about a paint colour.

I got some paint mixed by Leyland, the woman was really helpful explaining about red based greys, and blue based ones. They had special charts with them on, if you've got a local one. The paint isn't cheap but it's good quality and can be watered down a bit. We just bought a tester (250ml, about £4 iirc) to do a small area.
That said, I really like the Wilko one, I'd seen it in the shop and considered it, now I've seen it looking lovely on cake's wall, I'll probably get that to paint the rest of the room.
