Window Fitting

I've been getting quotes for new windows and doors and wonder what people's experience of how long the work should be expected to take is. Two companies have said it'll take 5 days, one said 2 to 2 1/2 days. The work is fitting a new front door, back door, 8 new windows and one new bay window to our 3 bed semi.

We got it done in 3 days (they didn't work full days though) for 9 new windows, new front door and new back door. It also needed some scaffolding, though they got away without it for the side of the house. We had another window done later and that only took them a couple of hours. They sent a team of three fitters who all shared the workload so it will likely depend on how many men are working on the job.

Ordering the windows took absolutely forever, so the installation speed was a pleasant surprise in comparison :D

Thanks for the reply! That's good to know for comparison. We've never had anything like this done so completely clueless.
