Another kitchen thread. (Sorry)

in our newly purchased two bed flat, we need to install a new kitchen essentially as the old one is ancient and falling apart (except for the cabinet structures which are super solid).
In the last few months I have figured what I need in the kitchen, counter space- and storage-wise: I need

1. three/four wall cabinets,
   
2. four bottom cabinet/drawers (enough for my pans/plates/appliances)
   
3. a single bowl deep sink with a drainage area
   
4. Induction hob (we have gas) with four rings. A smallish standard oven that doesn't need to be right under the hob.
   
5. An integrated fridge/freezer and a washing machine that has a full dryer
   
6. Pull out kitchen counter space to max out on the occasion I am hosting small parties. Otherwise the counter space above the
   

Now the problem is I also want to put in a small eating station where I could also bake/cook with DCs (toddlers so messy elsewhere).
I am attaching the rough diagram of the dimensions and important things in there. Pls help me come up with some idea. I don't want to go to kitchen design experts with no idea at all.
Sorry if it's too ambitious. I am ready to sacrifice some space for the convenience of saving the mess in living room (dining table there which can be folded away and opened for guests only if kitchen is done as I want so family could eat there).

Of course you can go to the design people with no firm ideas, that is what they are for! When you start thinking about what you want you come across the problems of corners, where to position appliances etc. they will help you with that. We had our kitchen done 18 months ago and went into the exercise knowing the maximum we wanted to spend and with the idea that the existing layout was not too bad but we needed far more storage and a big fridge + range cooker to fit into the space too. Our small local kitchen supplier found us just the units we wanted and with the ingenious (but expensive) magic corner cupboards it all fitted in.
Beware of the big sheds, they are not so good with coming up with original ideas.

And always check the measurements of anyone who comes to measure up - if they can't get that bit right - they don't deserve your business !!! ( I see sooooo many plans with incorrect sizing on from certain chains !!!)

I've recently bought a house which badly needs a new kitchen.

I went round most of the kitchen places where I live, got tons of brochures.

Knew the style I wanted anyway, decided on must haves. Went back to the one which had the kitchen I liked the best, told them my budget, size of room and the units I liked and asked if it within my budget. They said yes, he came and measured, told them my must haves, saw the plans today.

We changed a few things on the plans and came up with something I'm really happy with.

Your list as is is fine. They will come up with different ideas which you can then see really well what the style will look like and can change anything you want.

It looks like a perfect set up for an L shaped which should provide lots of work top. I would max out the wall cupboards as you are losing so many base ones. Be careful with seating area if too cramped or you end up lined against a wall it may not get used except as a junk station. Maybe a space saver/ Bistro by the radiator. The designer are used to people not having a set plan.

Makes me feel better tha I won't look like a total fool at some kitchen appointment.
There are many local companies round here and I really like the idea of going to them instead of the big names.
I have a feeling that if I opt for a pocket door, I will be able to save valuable floor space and might manage to move radiator to the space under the window and a small foldaway dining seat for the four of us would fit there too. This will make it a galley kitchen, ending in a seating area which might give it a more comfortable look than n L shaped kitchen Boul?how will you feel about it?

I love a galley style kitchen, there are some good ones on Pinterest under small galley. If it feels too close a friend use wall units on one side of her kitchen for the narrow depth.

Just keep in mind the outside walls for drainage.

What does that mean Boul? Sorry but could you please explain why do I need to consider the drainage with respect to ourside walls?

Sorry just the placement of washing machine & sink especially with pump of washing machine. You mentioned boiler on other thread the placement of vent. The dangers of leaks and the ability to inspect pipes.

Thank you very much for replying here too. I have made some plans on ikea planner and I will upload them here to see if they look ok to you. I don't think we will have the money to change the boiler yet and it's a very efficiently working one so far though it's ancient. So I don't know what the answe is and I think a 3D plan will explain its location/dimension properly so I will load that here.
