Glass splashback

Hi all. We purchased a toledo hood and splashback to go with our range cooker as part of our extension work. For various reasons we have changed our mind re the splashback. We have decided to get a piece of glass cut instead. Has anyone done this? I have looked online and found a couple of glaziers who will cut. Also the original splashback was trapezium shaped to go with the hood. Do you think it will look odd to have just a rectangular piece of glass (attached picture). We plan to have clear glass in order to see the colour of the wall. Finally how easy is it to fit? Thanks.

You could try easyglasssplashbacks.co.uk

They've just made us one to our exact mm spec and drilled 4 corner holes so we can screw it to the wall. Ours was printed with a pic we found on the Internet but I'm sure they did plain. Good service and fast.
