New boiler not working, help!

We've been without hot water and heating for 4 weeks now. New boiler fitted yesterday, thermostat etc done today so it was all finally switched on. Radiators were working- but barely heating a room. Sorted out the timer on the dial. Nothing came on when it was meant to so switched it to continuous use. Heating decided not to come on! Plumber has gone away and landlord not sure what to do. Oh and our flooring (which had developed bubbles with water) is still leaking. And, our washing machine decided to pack up this afternoon. Nothing in the filter, no water coming out of the emergency pipe- but water flooding out underneath the machine.

is it a wireless thermostat?

post a pic of the timer and the thermostat please.

Do you get hot water?

Is there a hot water cylinder?

What does the pressure gauge on the boiler read?

Have your radiators been bled with a bleed key or screwdriver whilst the heating is off?
Why didn't the gas fitter check that everything was working before he left?
As for the washing machine, have you checked the filter at the bottom of the machine? Should be behind a panel close to the floor. Be careful when the twist it and pull it out, water will come out of it.

Thank you for your responses!
We had hot water last night but keeping my fingers crossed we have some this morning. No hot water cylinder, everything was taken out. The pressure gauge has been changing between 1 and 2.

The plumber shut off the radiators before he started work as he had to redo all the pipes everywhere.

I took out the filter yesterday once the flooding stopped and it was completely clear and no water came out. We were advised to put the machine just on a spin run with no clothes inside and it flooded out from the bottom again but no water in the machine.

If you have hot water then the boiler is working.

Can we leave your non-boiler problems aside for a while please.

Let's look at the pressurs gauge.

What is it with the boiler cold?

Turn on the kitchen COLD tap.

Does the pressure change?

Turn off the cold, and turn on the kitchen hot tap.

Does the boiler fire up? Does hot water come out of the tap? Does the pressure change?

Quick questions. Did the gas fitter leave you the manual for the boiler? And, how old is the washing machine?

Oh. And are your radiators the same heat all over?
