Short lease? Ex-local authority? Block with a lot of expensive work set to be done to be funded by leaseholders? Not sure though.... it does seem VERY cheap. Maybe a misprint?

It's minute.

Looks as if it's right behind a school? A lot of people won't want a school as a neighbour.

I think there's something wrong with it or the listing. It's about £100k cheaper than any other 3 bedder in SW2.

Short term remaining on lease gets my vote.

it was last sold for £250k in 2013. So no increase in value for 3 years. Dodgy as hell.

Prior to that sold for £45k in 1996. I could cry with how cheap things used to be.

It looks like it had three toilets on one floor. Or am I reading the floor plans wrong?

Are there three separate toilets on one level, yet two tiny bedrooms?

Shock prices in England scare the shite out of me! So glad I live where I do.

You'd get a 4 bed house round where I live for that money Shock

Don't confuse London with the rest of England. In the rest of the country this would cost about £100k

Funky bathroom, wasn't expecting that!

It seems over priced imo.

It's a misprint or something is very, very wrong.

Ah just noticed where it is.. that explains the price!

It's a two bed place really, but even so it does look underpriced...

Lease issues, significant structural issues, or someone was murdered there would be my guess.

Or it's a rogue listing from 2013 that hasn't been taken down

Two aren't bedrooms, they're 5 foot wide. So it's really a one bed with two big cupboards.

Report
Ginslinger · 03/11/2016 21:25

tiny bedrooms -
kitchen looks like it used to be retail - the window looks like a shop window

Report
AndShesGone · 03/11/2016 21:25

And it's not on Rightmove so I think it's an old listing put on accidentally

Mum2jenny · 03/11/2016 21:26

3 loos for 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are tiny does not seem sensible.

Report
FrickOnAStick · 03/11/2016 21:33

ginslinger, I don't think it is a shop conversion. If you look at the pic of the flat block it looks like the flat is one of the ground floor ones (obv as it has a garden!) and kitchen is on at the front with the big picture window. They all seem to have the big window.

I agree that it's likely to be unmortgageable (lease or structural). That or the estate is a no-go? I don't know it.

It's really a 2 bed flat, with one smallish bedroom divided into 2 criminally teeny ones. Even for a 2 bed round there it's dirt cheap. Perhaps it's not mortgageable for some reason?

900 sq ft isn't that small for a 3 bed - our 2 bed terrace is just over 800 sq ft, a few of them have been converted to 3 bed with no extension and lot of 3 bed new builds and older semis are about the same size (we know because we've almost ruled out moving on to a 3 bed because we're struggling to find the extra space within budget but we can get what we need with a 4 bed)

The bedrooms are workable sized for a family - the narrow rooms are long so there's plenty of space for a bed plus storage in each.

Bus yes, it's a 2013 listing - the photo with the weird table in an empty room is the same as this one on right move www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-42254141.html

Another one in the same block for comparison. Don't be bowled over by the gorgeous decor, like. Looks like they're intended to be 3 bed, though - possibly ex LA?
