A very dull question regarding double v triple glazing

on bi-folds. Having a series of bi-folds installed and not sure if to go for standard double or triple glazed.

Obviously the latter is more £££ but not sure if it would make massive difference.

For reference we are south facing and on edge of a valley so get all the weather.

Triple is awesome. So quiet but heavy on the doors. If you get a lot of sun it makes a difference to the solar gain too.

We do get an incredible amount of sun and the reduction in glare was mentioned.

Thank you shang!

We have triple glazing in our patio doors (Kloeber). We're very impressed - even in the winter the windows "feel" the same as the house walls. We're so glad we chose triple over double and now want to redo all our windows.

Thank you. The overall cost is about £1,500 more which considering how much I am spending on glass isn't too bad.

Will have a ponder.

we have triple (rehau) glazing throuout. the difference is astonishing, esp in noise reduction. they are very heavy, so don't know if they would be practical as bifold.
