Copy of lease

Hello!
I'm currently trying to remortgage my flat and the lenders solicitors have requested a copy of my lease (property is a leasehold flat). The solicitors who dealt with the original sale have sent a copy to me, but the new solicitors won't accept this as it's and office copy.

I've tried getting in touch with my current lender, but my mortgage is with the local council. The mortgages are only dealt with by one employee there, who I've been trying to get hold of for several weeks with no success.

I should apparently be able to obtain a copy from the Land Registry website but I seem to be going round in circles! I have the registry plan and title number, but can't seem to find anywhere on the website to search for leases. Does anyone have a link to the appropriate section of the land registry website how has any pointers? Any help is much appreciated Smile

Ring the Land Registry - they are really helpful and will point you in the right direction.

You need to complete a form OC2 to get a copy of your lease.
