first floor bay window - strong enough for cross trainers?

Hi, I know it is a silly question, but cannot find answers anywhere else.

We have a first floor bay window and there is a long crack line on one side of the wall along the joint part between the bay area and the front bedroom.

We also have a cross trainer that is currently in kids' room. I'd like to put it in the bay area of our bedroom to give it more use. However, DH is worried about the crack getting longer and bigger if we do exercise on the cross trainer in the bay area.

What is your suggestion? Will it really make the cracks worse?

Thanks!

If it does, it isn't the cross-trainer that is the issue, there's something structurally wrong which needs addressing.
