Our house is a 3 bed terrace. No utility room, washer & dryer in a cupboard off the hallway. Only one sink in kitchen. We are currently doing up the small (1.4m x 2.3m) downstairs shower room (which is on the other side of the hallway).
Currently the room contains a loo, shower, and a really annoying sink which is both tiny and obstructed by an overhead wall cabinet.
We will definitely scrap the walk cabinet, but the dilemma is: keep a small hand washing sink, which is in proportion to the room and leaves it as a pleasant guest bathroom.
Or: add a larger sink, more practical for utility type stuff (hand washing, washing manky stuff etc) which would be possible to squeeze in but would definitely leave the room feeling very cramped.
Also (and if you are still reading then I am hugely grateful and impressed by your tenacity) - which larger sink?! Baby Belfast? (But no room for work surface to the side), IKEA lillangen (although this is actually quite shallow)? Something else?!
Currently paralysed by indecision to any thoughts would be appreciated!
