Conveyancing solicitors

Does anyone have any recommendations for solicitors? Be had a quote from one firm I know of professionally but am not sure if I'll end up with a person I can't get hold of.

I'm in SE London but I'm guessing location doesn't matter. Ultimately, I want someone who I can trust to deal with things quickly as if we get the flat we've offered on, we are hoping to complete within 10 weeks.

Thanks!

A local firm might be best as you can visit them to sign papers and drop off ID documents. As you're buying a flat, be aware that average conveyancing times are 10-12 weeks if no problems with the lease or title.

Thank you. Do you think it'll take that long with share of freehold?

Probably longer, sorry!

It will involve changing the title deeds for the leasehold and the freehold and getting the other leaseholder to sign documents too.
