Pilkington glass - burdock design

I have a north facing room and want to replace a solid door with one that has a glass panel. I am thinking about a panel that has a design or pattern to give a little privacy. I like the pilkington glass burdock design but am worried that the frosting may obscure too much of the light. Has anyone used it? Does it let much light through?

It doesn't stop light getting through - just obscures the view.
