I think it's so pretty BUT is it a little tacky? And will it date quickly? It's to go with a China Blue RangeMaster and dark grey units.
Thanks all!

It's not to my taste and I think it will date but I don't think it is tacky. If you like it, go for it - I imagine it would be quite straightforward to replace if you get sick of it.

I don't think it's tacky at all, it's gorgeous.

I LOVE them! It wouldn't date anymore than wallpaper, and would be just as easy/expensive to replace.

stareatthetvscreen Sat 09-Apr-16 21:53:19

i love it too

if easy to replace then go for it

They are beautiful ( IMO) just be aware that it will have the Ted baker logo in the bottom right hand corner. They are tempered glass so don't cut them and make sure you use an S1 adhesive.

Bloody gorgeous!!

MrsBungle Sat 09-Apr-16 21:55:19

I love it.

I think it's really pretty. I don't really do patterns in the house but that would make me consider it.

bearbehind Sat 09-Apr-16 22:02:29

I love the pattern but not for a kitchen - to me it just doesn't 'work' as a splash back

Charlieandlola Sat 09-Apr-16 22:03:27

I was expecting to find it vulgar but it's lovely !

fancy have a look at Original Style Glassworks if you haven't already. Lots of nice stuff there.

lebkucken Sat 09-Apr-16 22:15:21

I love it. It reminds me of the laura Ashley Summer Palace print.

SaveSomeSpendSome Sat 09-Apr-16 22:20:03

I love it!

On the fence here ...

fancyacoffee Sat 09-Apr-16 22:28:13

Thank you everyone - really useful to get your first reactions to it. I think my worry is that is looks more bedroomy than kitcheny.
Justdont - thanks for the link, will take a look.

Would love any ideas on what will work with my oven - www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/cooking/cookers/rangemaster-elise-110-dual-fuel-range-cooker-china-blue-chrome-21494977-pdt.html

KenDoddsDadsDog Sat 09-Apr-16 22:30:52

I really like it but think it would date quite fast.
That oven is stunning !! Want one.

justdontevenfuckingstart Sat 09-Apr-16 22:35:51

fancy just carry on tiling (assuming you are) into the splashback behind the range. Putting another element in will be too busy I think. Marlborough do lots of nice stuff too.

Cocolepew Sat 09-Apr-16 22:38:38

It's gorgeous

Pinkheart5915 Sat 09-Apr-16 22:39:09

It wouldn't be to my taste and wouldn't look good in my kitchen but I don't think it's tacky

Sparkletastic Sat 09-Apr-16 22:41:17

Love it

ChickadeeChick Sat 09-Apr-16 23:15:15

I love it. I love anything with birds on! I actually want this for my kitchen. Doubt I will get it past DP though angry

GasLightShining Sun 10-Apr-16 00:24:26

Quite like it

Kaddy Sun 10-Apr-16 00:29:44

I LOVE it and as long as the rest of the tiling/cabinets/work surface is kept simple I think it won't date that quickly, and even if it does you can replace it.

I think it would look fabulous with that cooker.

SealSong Sun 10-Apr-16 01:56:51

That cooker is stunning, and I really think that the splashback, much as I like it, would not go with it at all. It would compete for attention and clash horribly. That fabulous cooker needs a simple surround that shows it off, not detracts from it.
