Reusing Windows

We are buying a house that has had new windows installed in the past few years. We want to build a rear extension. is it possible to use the same Windows? I have searched the web for this but all I can find are things about recycling and refurbishing really old Windows. I simply want to reposition them.
I can't see why it would be a problem but just curious as to why I'm not seeing any search results.

Yes, you can reuse windows.

We reused one when we did our extension. It was originally a side window but we used in in the new shower room. We just changed the glass inside for a patterned/obscured glass.

It was upvc though.
