Have you booked anyone yet?

I am looking at a white quartz worktop and cannot decide on which firm to use. I've seen good reviews for Diapol, Hendeson, Granite Zone, Cargo Granite and more and I'm becoming dizzy from deciding which to go with.

Chiltern Marbles actually have a showroom near me in Islington so I might pop in to have a look.

I have asked them all for quotes but there isn't much difference in pricing. I am more worried about the workmanship to be honest.

Would be interested to know if you have booked yours in, or indeed if anyone else reading this has any imput.

Otherwise I might just put their names in a bag and pick one out!

I just popped into the Business Design Centre on Upper Street in Islington and met with the guys from Chiltern Marble. They gave a very good price, and I was able to see many samples.

Now waiting for them to deliver the samples so we can see what they look like in the actual kitchen.

I might use this firm even though they are not as cheap as the other firms I have had quotes from - Diapol, Top Stone and Henderstone.

Does anyone have any dealings with Chiltern Marble please?

I did a ton of research and went with Granite Zone in the end, after taking into consideration sample and cost. Its been 2yrs and I still love my pure white worktops & breakfast bar!

We got a pure white quartz worktop from Diapol. Can't recommend them enough! We've now moved and I'll be using them again for my new kitchen.

Granite Zone gave the second highest quote after Chiltern Marble, but I guess you get what you pay for. Diapol was the cheapest but that was just a rough idea.

I'm waiting for the samples to be delivered so I can see them in the actual kitchen. The stone I really liked (pale white with tiny flecks) was £2800, £800 over my budget. :-(

To be honest I've got such a headache from reading reviews and getting quotes that I might just stick with Chiltern now.
