Hi All
Am currently awaiting plans to merge two rooms into one to make a large (ish) kitchen. I have a really reliable group of tradesmen, plumbers carpenters et al who can fit a kitchen once the building is done...but they aren't kitchen designers.
Questions :
a), do I pay for an independant designer to see the room plans and recommend something (how much would this be, and where would I find one) or
b) I take the plans off to Howdens etc etc and see what they come up with? Problem with the last scheme- I have no intention of them doing the work, so I feel guilty about wasting their time..and they might guess I am wasting their time and not take me seriously and come up with a rubbish plan
c) am I over thinking this entirely and need to get a life!
Why is it so easy to get this whole house improvement thing totally out of proportion??????? Just get me on the topic of Karndean v laminate!!!!! Oh, and then there's the worktops.......
Thanks for your advice!
