I really like them. They have to be the good kind though

Who cares? It's your bedroom. Even if you care what other people think in other rooms, it's the most private room in the house. Definitely the place to just do what the hell you like.

Ewwwww. But yes, if you like them, crack on. May they give you great joy. :)

www.homebargains.co.uk/products/11241-loft-collection-marquee-led-light-love.aspx

£9.99 in homebargains. Although if hb are selling them off cheap that usually means they are already out of fashion.
But cheap enough not to mind getting rid in 6 months when bored of it Grin

I really like them. But have LOVE letters somewhere else in the house so wouldn't get them for myself, iyswim. Unless they cost the earth I'd say go for them and get rid when you get fed-up with them. (Qualification: I like the whole hanging hearts, cut-outs from ordnance survey maps, motivational phrases, family tree etc thing too....)

Have you looked at Goodwin and Goodwin? Expensive but really lovely.

And the seletti neon lights can look great too.

letters belong in books IMHO. But it's your bedroom, you like it, go ahead!

" Letter belong in books"
Well we would all be pretty fucked without letters belonging on signs too Grin

fair dos Grin

but another thread shows a big sign above the bath that says 'bath'. Do we need to go that far? Wink

Not naff unless they spell out 'sex' or 'live laugh love' imho.

I'm firmly in the absolutely not camp! Smile

I think the DD's would like their first initials in lights though.

I think if you must have light-up letters you should use them to spell a big shiny 'FUCK'.

I've got some huge metal vintage letters which I found in a skip. They are lovely. Unfortunately all there was, was a K and a Y.

Still - it was cheaper than Pedlars Grin

NOt a fan of quotes all over the place. If you want breakfast in bed sleep in the kitchen and all that old crap. Will have to give this some more thought. In my bathroom i have metal wall signs with adverts on, one for a digestive cure all, one for a laxative fron 1940 and i have just ordered one which is a repro ad for Thomas crappers wares. Those are quite different rather than bathe etc

It'd be great if they still lit up. I could invite a bloke over and then make them flash on and off suggestively Grin
