Water coming into house - who to ask for help?

Hoping someone here can help.

We have water coming in to our house where the extension meets the main house.

We moved in here 2.5 years ago and it first happened 5 months after moving in. We had some local General Maintenance men come to look (who's previously done work for us and we trusted them) and they came to the conclusion it was coming in through the brickwork as most of the mortar between the bricks was in a bad state and wearing away. We waited until spring and they dug out the mortar and redid it all, they also put water seal on the side of the house. 6 months later when winter kicked in it happened again, called the same people and they came to the conclusion that we needed cavity trays as these apparently hasn't been fitted when the extension was built. We therefore had those fitted. So winter has kicked in again and more rain pouring in.

This time we contacted a builder who also asked the opinion of 2 roofers. They came to the conclusion that the cavity trays hadn't been fitted correctly so made the corrections that they saw fit. Unfortunately this still hasn't worked and Yet again we have water pouring in. They are sure it isn't the flat roof.

It only seems to occur when the rain is heavy and the wind is in a certain direction.

Does anyone have any suggestions what might be causing this or whether there is a different sort of tradesman or professional we could contact to try and get to the root of the problem?

Sorry I can offer no help but we are in a similar situation I fear.
We moved in to our house last November. It's becoming apparent that the extension has been done rather shitly.

We have a dormer bathroom and bedroom. We had water through the bathroom ceiling a few weeks ago in heavy rain. Since then all dry.
I have had 3 roofers out. All telling us different things are wrong. We just don't know who to believe and what work to get done. I'm on the verge of getting a whole new roof on the extension because every time it rains I get so stressed out worrying. DH foes not think we need to be so drastic though! Funny he works away a lot.

I'm away this weekend. I left the house with buckets towels and bathmats all over the bathroom and just pray tomorrow night when I get home it's caught any water coming in.

I seem to be struggling to even get roofers to get up on the roof and loom. They all seem to guess from looking up at it which does not instill confidence. A friend of mine has duggested I move on to builders who do extensions now instead of specialist roofers to see what advice they give.
I'm so sorry I can't help anymore but perhaps getting differenttradesmen in may be the answer.

Is there flashing where the flat roof meets the wall of the house? Does that need fixing into place? It should be mortared in between two courses of brickwork and overlapping the flat roof. It might all look okay, but actually be loose somewhere.

This may or may not help, but my parents had this; after numerous tradesmen & ineffective repairs, it was discovered to be a leak under the dormer window - nothing to do with the roof at all.
