Hatch end or Pinner

We are planning to move our main home from Isleworth to Harrow. Pinner we liked and even heard slot but just less than a mile away we visited hatch end. Although we know Pinner is a good area and hatch end just half a mile away but no idea how that area is in actual living with kids. Any advises will be of great help. We would love to move to twickenham but our budget cannot afford same house here as oppose to Pinner or hatch end. Hatch end we felt is more greener and also has a good school.

Both are lovely, but I prefer Pinner.

Transport links are better, houses are more interesting and I think the High Street is more useful than Hatch End!

I lived in Hatch End pre kids and I'd prefer Pinner personally. Hatch End is on the overground which is handy but Pinner has good schools and is v family friendly.

Thank you fiorentina and umiaisha. I agree on the high street point as that's the only part I have seen so far😀
The prospective house is in Grimsdyke primary school catchment snd second is Pinner wood, at least from ofsted they booth are outstanding so hard to compare.

I lived in both Hatch End and Pinner (from the ages of 10 - 21). Hatch End first and I went to Grimsdyke. We moved to Pinner when I was 16/17 ish. I can't comment on the schools, because it was donkey's years ago - I'm quite ancient now!

But in terms of areas, I much preferred Pinner - it's a far more attractive village, with a nicer shopping area (no idea what the shops in either places are like now though). Pinner has a tube station (Metropolitan line). Pinner Fair was the highlight of my teenage years!
