got this on pinterest and wonder if it sounds right .

1 tbs warm water mix till smooth with

2 1/2 tbs plaster of paris

add 1 cup of paint and mix.

assume it's latex paint.

Says it dries in 1 hour but what is different in how it looks? Does it look milky?

I read this blog about comparing 4 different recipes complete with pictures.

I have only ever used Annie Sloane so cannot comment on any homemade versions, but I would use this person's number one choice for all the reasons she gives.

I mixed some up once using unsanded grout and it worked a treat.

But, I did have to give it a light sand before waxing as it was slightly gritty.

It was just on a mirror frame but I wouldn't use the grout version on a large piece because if having to sand.

Good luck. I'd love to know how you get on.
