Had a bloke round from an asbestos company to do some testing. STUPIDLY when making conversation asked him if he'd been busy that day and he told me all about how he'd been out to a flat where a bloke has been drilling through asbestos insulation board and contaminated his carpets etc. I asked if he's had to wear protective clothing to go to this flat and he said no that he didn't need to and that the dust wasn't going to jump up at him. He's an experienced professional who seems very knowledgable when he's talking but I'm shocked that he didn't wear protective gear to go into a contaminated house. What are the dangers that he contaminated my house? He had removed his shoes as I've got a crawling DD but still...

Would be grateful for thoughts and advice

Hi there, my husband is a builder and has done a course in safe asbestos removal so hope this helps put your mind at ease. The board type of asbestos is low risk so try not to worry xx

Hi kweightman, thanks for your reply. Everything I've read about and from what the man was telling me about AIB is that it generates a high level of fibres ShockSad
