back reception room behind side return extension

We have finished our lovely East facing side return kitchen extension, and have moved onto decorating the room off it, which will be a family room with log burner, sofa, TV and kids toys. Any tips on decorating this awkward room, there is light coming in through the doors into the extension which has vellux windows. I am thinking white walls, but which white would you choose????
