Thinking of this combo, not keen on grey and think white grouting would discolour. Has anyone had this done? Floor with be black/white geometric pattern. All else white.

Friends have exactly this around their bath with shower over. They also have a black dado tile trim. Looks very smart.

It's a great way to avoid cleaning mould.

I have a dark grey grout with white metro tiles and it looks lovely. I think black would look good too. I am a big fan of monochrome.

My friend has this, to me it looks like mouldy white grout and it never looks clean.

The black grout is very definitely black at my friends' house.

I'm with mintyy on the look but a
I've found using good quality grout (and sealant) along with regular cleaning and good ventilation very much deters any mould.

We have dark grey grout with dark grey tiles. Get ready to spend a lot of time scrubbing paler soap scum out of your grout with a toothbrush.

Oh god. Not the bloody toothbrush scrubbing. Really not sure what to go with now. Argh!

Pale grey wouldn't show the scum so much. That's what I wish we'd used.

Thanks rom - back to the drawing board for another think perhaps.

cashew I totally agree about the monochrome look.
