Which floor with this kitchen?

We are having a matt grey handle-less kitchen with a Silestone zirconium (dark grey) worktop and stainless steel rangemaster. Can't have any wood on the floor as the downstairs of the rest of the house is stripped floorboards (think rustic!)

There are currently beautiful white tiles on the kitchen floor (here when we arrived) but with 3dcs and 2 Labradors they are proving to be a bit of a nightmare!

Forgot to say that there are steps down to the kitchen so no direct link to the wood floor.

If you are having dark worktops I'd try To stick with a lightish floor. Polished concrete ??? Looks amazing but I think it costs ££££. Have a look in Pintrest. So many nice shades/options.
(Btw , where did you get yr kitchen from?? I'm in the middle of planning one now)

Luxury vinyl tiles such as Amtico, Polyflor, etc. Easy to care for and look good.

My Dsis has Kardean. I was a bit skeptical about the whole vinyl tile thing when she was considering it, but it does look great. It's hygenic and easy to clean and stuff doesn't break if you drop it.

something like this?
