Which boiler?!

Hi, we are just about to have a new boiler fitted and have been advised previously to go for a Worcester 34CDI. Our plumber is happy to fit this but says he rates Ideal boilers over Worcester boilers. Anyone got any ideas about if this is valid or not? For info the house is a three bed semi with one bathroom and shower. Thanks!

Our plumber said the same but we insisted on the Worcester. The cost isn't that different (especially considering how much the labour costs compared to the boiler itself) and Worcester reviews seem SO much better.

We had a Worcester in our last house and had no problems at all.

I don't trust any plumber who says another make of boiler is better than Worcester. We had one try to convince us to get a Baxi. Hmm

Stick with Worcester and you can't go wrong.

A little known fact is that it's better to use an approved Worcester installer as you get a longer guarantee. It sounds like your plumber isn't so I'd recommend finding another if you can.

There's a section on the Worcester website for accredited installers. We had one fitted last week by a plumber we found through the list, I have to say they were excellent.

I lived with an Alpha boiler. It was awful, I would only have a Worcester now!
