My eyes!!! That bathroom is something else. I'd vote hipster. Too neat and clean and tidy for an old lady. Blush

Deceased old lady with some fabulous retro bits worth keeping! Bit of a hard call but the wrinkly carpet in the bedroom was the clincherSmile

Wow, that wallpaper in the bathroom is erm... interesting.

But, I cant tell if its deliberate or not Blush

Original old lady wall paper (surely to god no-one would have done that recently???), bought by a vintage-loving couple who have then sympathetically under-modernised, would be my bet. Some of it is cool (bathroom tiles) but I couldn't live with most of those wallpapers.

My christ. That wallpaper! I vote old person, it was too authentic to have been a pastiche.

Good god I wouldn't want to wake up in that house with a hangover

Old person without a doubt. Definitely some bits worth keeping though!

Bit of both I think. Was an old lady, slightly tarted up by cool hipster couple but not quite finished. Some rooms are very cool - some are more granny.

Wow. Definitely genuine stuff (i am guessing the kids left home and nobody felt the need to redecorate).

I'd worry about having to rewire and upgrade the boiler etc.

Old lady- things like the cables just running along the floor and not hidden.

I think the red ceiling is definitely modern. And the light brown carpet in the bedroom matches a little too well with the wallpaper - if it was retro the carpet would have been blue and floral.

Hipster for sure. Those wallpapers are all the rage just now. I spent hours pouring over them for a small corner of dining room.

Old person, definitely.

It is definitely on the edge of cool, I would say deceased though.

How about this one, especially pics 6 & 10 - I like renovating, but wouldn't know where to start here.

Old person who was a total hipster back in her day. We'd be positively swooning over it if it was 1973.

I'm thinking trendy owners who have no money to spend on the interior.

Magnificent house. All that stuff is just cosmetic, couple of tins of paint and it'd be unrecognisable.

I think it is amazing - got a feeling it would all have to go in process of rewiring and replumbing Sad. I'd have a year of living with it first just so I could love it a bit longer.
