Surely not super glue?!?!

The screws on our wooden loo seat keep coming loose - vigorous, independent toddler.
I'm thinking of taking out the screws, squeezing in a little glue and then putting the screws back in. Hopefully, they will then stay put.

But which glue? Wood glue? Which one? Gorilla glue? Surely not super glue?
Please help a DIY learner!

How about using some epoxy putty instead? You mix the two parts together, push some into the screw holes and screw your screws in. Once it has 'gone off' they are firmly fixed in place. You can use this stuff if a hole for rawlplug has been drilled to big, etc so it really does work. They sell several sorts with the glue and bits and bobs in B&Q.

I imagine the superglue just won't have the right kind of bond to grip screws.

Possible solutions

1 buy a bog seat
2 Chuck seat out of top floor window whilst screaming
3 now the set has gone wear thermals when on the throne

Wowfudge, thank you, I shall do just that.
Roneik - if that fails/I cock up, I shall go for option 2 grin

gripfill (or similar). iy's less brittle tham superglue or epoxy resin.
