Colours for bedroom. ..help!

Decorator coming on Monday so I need to make a decision! The bedroom is north facing so doesn't get too much natural light. It is dual aspect but the windows on the opposite wall are the original stained glass and quite small (Arts and Crafts house). There are fitted wardrobes on 2 walls that are pine and need painting. What do you think of this colour scheme?

Is it neutral enough? House will be going on the market next year as me and my partner are splitting up.

Was thinking the wardrobes might look nicer in a very pale grey rather than off white as shown here. Thoughts oh wise ones? Smile

I think it is neutral enough but maybe a bit cold for a room that faces north.

Have you thought of creamy colours? Boring I know (says the woman whose whole home is neutral creams!) but you can't go wrong.

Thanks nappy. I know what you are saying but I have an aversion to cream for some reason! Plus it is a very large grand room and I think it needs some colour so it doesn't kind of lose it's drama IYKWIM! Any other ideas apart from cream?

As it is a grand room you could probably get away with the colours you have chosen (and the pale grey wardrobes) and just use an accent to warm it up - pale yellow cushions on the bed, this sort of thing www.kimberley-dawn-cushions.co.uk/Sanderson_Empire_Yellow__Grey_Etchings_and_Roses_Toile_Cushion_855.php or curtains such as www.curtainscurtainscurtains.co.uk/images/library/Zahira%20layout.jpg

Ooh do you know I never would have thought of putting yellow with it! I wonder what other warm colours would go...off to Pinterest!
