Green dusty mould on bedroom wall

We have this - not sure what's causing it, but suspect that it's damp from rain coming through the walls (old house, also rented). We don't get any condensation on the inside of windows, so unlikely to be that.

Anyway, we use mould and mildew remover sprayed onto the walls, left for a bit then wiped off. It seems to do the trick for a good few weeks, and doesn't damage the paintwork (worth doing a spot test first though)

condensation is your problem, damp is his. This does sound like damp from a building issue, hence his problem.

phone up, demand action within a stated time, threaten environmental health if nothing happens.

or if it was a dump when you rented it and you knew it was, give notice and leave.
