So here is a picture of the wall: (hope this works)

measurements are as follows: window to chimney breast 222cm, internal wall to chimney breat 84 cm, total wall width (including chimney breast 3.5m. Height is 231 cm.
Trying to get some useful storage with ideally with a small desk built in.
was looking at Ikea pax but there units start at 50 and go up in increments of 50 it seems so we could get a 50 unit for the alcove which is 84cm and then but in some small shelves of 34 cm and then the other alcove get something 150cm wide and put a desk next to the curtain with shelving above the desk. There is a vent and curtain rail by the window so cannot really take the curtain right up to the wall.
Would like to get some sliding doors that cover the chimney breast (and may facilitate some really shallow shelves on the front of the chimney breast.
Anyone have any particularly good ideas to really maximise storage here?
Gone to IKea by default because we had good ones in our last place with no chimney breast issue. But open to other ideas but cannot really afford Sharps, hammonds or bespoke fitting.
The desk would be a nice to have but would consider without but cannot run it right up to the window.
Thanks
