We have bathroom remodel coming up but it was surprisingly hard to settle on basic style. There are a lot out there, so I am listing the typical trendy ones I've noticed so far...
What is your favourite?
- Ultra-Victorian - traditional units, clinical white tiles on wall or floor, cast iron curve-rimmed bath, sometimes stone tiles, sometimes tongue & groove panels, sometimes even damask wallpaper
- Toned down traditional - F&B wall paint, white classic units, sometimes wooden-looking floor, etc
- Beige tiles - beige tiles all over bathroom - we saw a lot of them when we were viewing the houses, sometimes with bowl sinks
- Ultra-modern look in very rich flats - some insane amount of glossy black, marble or something like that
- Natural stone look - tiled in faded multicolour natural grey/brown stone/light beige, supposed to make one feel like one's in a spa, involves exotic stone bath, fancy bowl sinks and slick thermostatic shower without tray...
- Mosaic tiles - partial or fully all over the walls around bath
- American traditional look - painted walls, large dark wood vanities, lots of furniture in bathroom
- Functional white - big white tiles, white units, no odd shapes
Anything else, I've forgotten...say it.
And...go! :)
