wooden Swing - Silly question alert!!

We have just bought a double swing for the garden and want to employ someone to erect it.

Both me and DP are dreadful at DIY so what "type" of tradesperson do I ask? There are local handymen listed in the paper?

Who would you ask?

Thanks

It's certainly the sort of job, My gardening and handyman friend would do.

Rural midlands.

Back of the parish magazine or your local village post office will know someone if you live anywhere faintly rural.

If you live in a town, I don't know.

Swing frames aren't rocket science, I bet you and DH could sort it.

We have recently done similar. We asked the general handyman who has variously fixed loos, showers, bits of our kitchen, put up shelves, put a letterbox in our front door (ie a bit of evwrything!) I don't and he was happy to do so. So yes, general handyman is fine.

Are you part of any Facebook selling groups? Maybe you could ask on there.

ask local streetlife.
but if you can read instructions you can do it yourself.
