Ikea Laxarby anyone?

Has anyone got the Laxarby kitchen installed? Can't work out what it will look like and I haven't found any images online and they only have black set up in the showroom.

I thought I would love it but in the flesh (albeit in IKEA where the lighting is strangely dim) it seems more pink/creamy than white. Not sure whether Gryntas will be a better bet - seems less 'offwhite' than the "white" Laxarby.

Can anyone help?

ohhh one I can help on!

we were all set for the laxerby for about 6 months but changed our minds at the last minute for grytnas. the door seemed white thin and liked you thought it was slightly too pink in the flesh. It's actually the same door as in the faktum range, can't remember what it was called off the top of my head, but if you find that out you can Google images of that instead. Grytnas is the same as Adel Smile

He he, I too get excited when I can actually help with a query!

Thanks for your help. I wonder if the one it replaced is ramsjo?

Does Gryntas still feel 'white'. Would be pairing it with white walls, white windows so think if it's very off white it might be more noticeable.

So hard to tell in the shop when the lighting is low and not next to pure brilliant white.

Off to compare ramsjo and Adel...

well I'm helpful but not that helpful, ours isn't being fitted for two weeks!

Yes the Ramsjo is Laxarby. from all the pictures Adel seems pretty white, were going with white tiles. it certainly isn't a yellow white.

I'm sure if you search on here a mnetter has installed Adel and has pictures Smile

I have some ramsjo doors. I like the finish it is slightly warm with a hint of wood grain, but (in my kitchen at least) it reads white. I can imagine if you put it next to white appliances or brilliant white walls it would go pink though.

For kitchens I always buy whatever is the cheapest drawer/door front and take it home to play with.
