Decent laminate worktop - not pretending to be something it isn't.

I can only really afford laminate for my kitchen makeover. I don't like the wood or stone effect of most of them though. Does anyone know where I might get some more inspiring options?

I am not to be trusted with real wood due to being a clumsy slattern.

If money were no object I'd have a recycled glass worktop like this from Resilica so I'm all up for something bold
